Murfreesboro Softball League is the premier girls softball league of Rutherford County! We believe sports play an integral role in the development of character and are committed to providing the youth of our community a league home where they may play while learning values of honesty, commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship. We believe these values, hard work and the many life lessons will enrich the lives of our youth building a stronger community one child at a time!

We offer both Fast & Slow pitch during the Spring & Fall for ages 4-19 (fast pitch is ages 6-19). Games for our Spring season begin late April / early May through June with Fall games beginning early September through October. All games will be held at McKnight Park 120 Dejarnette Lane Murfreesboro, TN 37129.

Players are assigned to divisions based on their age as of January 1st of the current year, requests for playing up can be made in the comments section of the registration form and by contacting the Commissioner but is subject to approval by league officials. 

It is strongly encouraged that beginners ages 10 and up play at least one season of Slow Pitch prior to Fast Pitch.

Our Slow Pitch league is open to players ages 4-19 and is excellent for beginners as well as returning players. This league includes Tee Ball for ages 4-6. Players will be given the opportunity to learn and/or enhance the fundamentals of catching / throwing, batting / base running. The pitch is a half windmill type with the ball going up in an arc prior to falling within the strike zone. A fun and exciting league for all ages!

Our Fast Pitch league is open to players ages 6-19 and although more competitive is also an excellent instructional league which will allow players to learn and/or enhance the fundamentals of catching / throwing, batting / base running. The pitch is a full windmill type thrown along a straight plane, curving and diving to the left, right, top and bottom of the strike zone offering much less reaction time for batters. This league is more competitive but is still fun and exciting for all ages!
